Arkansas is a state located in the southern region of the United States. It shares borders with Missouri to the north, Tennessee and Mississippi to the east, Louisiana to the south, Texas to the southwest, and Oklahoma to the west. The capital city is Little Rock, and it is the largest city in the state.
The flag of Arkansas was adopted on March 16, 1924. The design features a diamond shape in the center with 25 white stars, representing Arkansas being the 25th state to join the Union. The diamond is surrounded by a blue border with a white background on the top half and a red background on the bottom half.
