On August 24th 1990 the Armenian Supreme Soviet re-adopted the current flag design that was originally used by the First Republic of Armenia between 1918-1922.

The Armenian flag, known as The Armenian Tricolor consists of three equal horizontal bands of red, blue, and apricot (pale orange).
