Pakistan, officially known as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a country located in South Asia. It shares borders with India, Afghanistan, Iran, and China. The official languages are Urdu and English. The capital is Islamabad, and the largest city is Karachi.

The flag of Pakistan was adopted in August 1947. The design consists of a five-pointed white star and crescent moon on a dark green field, with a vertical white stripe at the left hand hoist side.
