The Kingdom of Cambodia ព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា (Preăhréachéanachâkr Kâmpŭchéa) (Braḥrājāṇācakr Kambujā) also known as Kampuchea is a country in located in the Indochinese Peninsula in Southeast Asia. It shares borders with Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. Its official language is Khmer. The capital and largest city is Phnom Penh.
The Cambodian flag design consists of a horizontal band of blue, a double width central band of red followed by another band of blue. In the middle of the flag Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world is depicted. It was officially adopted in 1993.
