Luxembourg, officially known as the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is a landlocked country in Western Europe. It shares borders with Belgium, Germany and France. Its official language is Luxembourgish and administrative languages used are also French and German. The capital and largest city is Luxembourg City.
The flag of Luxembourg in use from around 1845-1848 was officially adopted in July 1993. The design consists of a horizontal triband using the colors from the coat of arms of the House of Luxembourg, red, white and light blue.
