The Republic of Djibouti (République de Djibouti) is a country in the Somali Peninsula of Africa. It shares borders with Somalia, Ethiopia and Eritrea. Its official languages are Arabic and French. The capital and largest city is Djibouti City.
The Djibouti flag ‘Drapeau National’ was adopted in June 1977. The design consists of two equal horizontal bands of light blue and light green. The left hoist features a white equilateral triangle bearing a five pointed red star at its center.
