འབྲུག་ཡུལ་རྒྱལ་དར
The Kingdom of Bhutan (འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་ཁབ Druk Gyal Khap) (Dragon Kingdom) is a country located in the Himalayas in South Asia. It shares borders with China and India. Its official language is Dzongkha. The capital and largest city is Thimphu.
As it is known as the ‘Dragon Kingdom’ the Bhutanese flag features a large dragon at the centre. This is placed over a diagonally divided top left triangle of yellow and bottom right triangle of orange. The current version was adopted in 1969.
