Colorado is a state located in the western part of the United States. It shares borders with Utah to the north, Wyoming to the north, Nebraska to the northeast, Kansas to the east, Oklahoma to the southeast, New Mexico to the south, and Arizona to the southwest. The capital city and largest city of Colorado is Denver.

The flag of Colorado was adopted on June 5, 1911. It features three horizontal stripes of equal width. The top and bottom stripes are blue, representing the clear skies of Colorado, while the middle stripe is white, symbolizing the snow-capped mountains. In the center of the flag, there is a circular red “C” enclosing a golden disk.
