Arkansas is a state located in the southern region of the United States. It shares borders with Missouri to the north, Tennessee and Mississippi to the east, Louisiana to the south, Texas to the southwest, and Oklahoma to the west. The capital city is Little Rock, and it is the largest city in the state.
The flag of Arkansas was adopted on March 16, 1924. The design features a red field with a blue outlined diamond shape containing 25 white stars, representing being the 25th state. Within the blue diamond is white diamond with four blue stars and the state name.
