Türkmenistanyň baýdagy
Turkmenistan (Түркменистан) is a country in Central Asia. It shares borders with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. It’s official language is Turkmen. The capital and largest city is Ashgabat.
The flag of Turkmenistan consists of a green field with a decorative vertical carpet design stripe near the left hand side. The upper middle of the flag features a white crescent with five stars representing the regions of the country. The current version was adopted in January 2001.
