Romania (România), officially known as the Republic of Romania, is a country located in southeastern Europe. It shares borders with Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary. The official language is Romanian. The capital and largest city is Bucharest.
The Romanian flag was adopted in December 1989. The design consists of a vertical tricolor of blue, yellow, and red.
