Bahrain, officially known as the Kingdom of Bahrain, is an island country located in the Western Asia. Situated in the Persian Gulf it is found between Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Its official language is Arabic and its capital and largest city is Manama.
The flag of Bahrain was adopted in February 2002. The design of a white band on the left hoist side separated from a larger red area on the right by five triangles which form a zigzag pattern.
