Nicaragua, officially known as the Republic of Nicaragua, is a country located in Central America. It shares borders with Honduras and Costa Rica. The official language is Spanish. The capital and largest city is Managua.
The flag of Nicaragua in use since 1907 was officially adopted in August 1971. The design consists of horizontally striped blue, white stripes with a central national coat of arms.
