Saudi Arabia is a country located in Western Asia, covering most of the Arabian Peninsula. It is the world’s largest oil exporter and the second-largest country in the Arab world. It is bordered by Jordan and Iraq to the north, Kuwait to the northeast, Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates to the east, Oman to the southeast, and Yemen to the south. The official language is Arabic. The capital city is Riyadh and the largest city is Jeddah. 

The flag of Saudi Arabia was adopted in 1744. The design consists of a green field with an inscription of the Shahada or Muslim creed in white with a horizontal sword pointing to the left underneath. The green represents Islam and the sword stands for justice.
