Connecticut is a state located in the northeastern part of the United States. It shares borders with Massachusetts to the north, Rhode Island to the east, New York to the west, and Long Island Sound to the south. The capital city of Connecticut is Hartford, and its largest city is Bridgeport.

The flag of Connecticut features a field of azure blue with a white shield in the center. The shield displays three grapevines, each bearing three bunches of purple grapes, representing the state’s early agricultural industry. Above the shield, there is a golden banner with the state motto, “Qui Transtulit Sustinet” (He Who Transplanted Still Sustains).
