Aruba is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, located in the southern Caribbean Sea, just north of Venezuela. The official languages are Dutch and Papiamento, and the capital city is Oranjestad.
The flag adopted on March 18, 1976, consists of a light blue field with two narrow yellow horizontal stripes near the bottom. In the top left corner, there is a red, four-pointed star outlined in white.
