The Bahamas, officially known as the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, is a country located in the West Indies. This island country is found to the north of Cuba and Southeast of Florida in the US. Its official language is English and its capital and largest city is Nassau.
The flag of the Bahamas was adopted in July 1973. The design consists of a horizontal triband of aquamarine blue, yellow and aquamarine. A black equilateral triangle is at the left hoist-side.
