The Republic of El Salvador (República de El Salvador) is a country located in Central America. It shares borders with Honduras and Guatemala. Its official language is Spanish. The capital and largest city is San Salvador.
Known as Magna flag the El Salvadoran flag was adopted in May 1912. The design features three horizontal bands of blue, white and blue with the national coat of arms displayed centrally in the white band.
